I'm getting a "C" grade in a class for a really lame reason, anyone else agree that it is lame?

I have a "C" in my european lit class because I missed a couple points on every assignment, like %26lt;5, and we have only had about 3 or four assignment. I've gotten perfect on most of them, but missed a couple points on two, I think.

Most of these assignments are worth 6 -15 pts.

And I have a C, and the teacher hasn't graded our test so it doesn't count.

I don't really have a problem with my grade or anything, but does anyone else think it is lame that you can get such a bad grade just for missing a question or two?

This class is supposed to be "higher" level, but the assignment are just out of the book, and we've only had a couple of assignments.

So when we miss something, it really effects our grade!

I just think it is lame. Anyone else had this happen to you?

I don't think it's lame. You are missing questions, so you aren't making a 100%. If you want a higher grade, do better. It's supposed to be a "higher" level, so you are expected to perform on a "higher" level.
Reply:It just sounds like you are griping about a class and blaming the format for your "C." You only have a few grades to average, they must be high grades if you want an "A." If you miss questions, and have points deducted, it doesn't give you a lot of cushion. Report It

Reply:First, try becoming "literate". Speak grammatically correct. Learn to READ. And, READ the assigned materials. Answer questions in class and GO TO CLASS! Take the course seriously. It's not lame, perhaps YOU are.
Reply:Do you talk in class and answer questions in disscusion...if not, there's your reason.
Reply:Talk to your teacher. Maybe your doing something wrong.
