Class C Felony Charges in Missouri?

My ex-husband broke my arm and beat me up pretty bad. I now have a full year order of protection against him. But we had to do a school function with out 6 yr old son(tht watched his dad beat his mom)he said he would get nothing done to him, since I went on his property and went inside to check on my son, which the person their watching him was drunk. I was alloweed in the house by the babysitter(next door neighbor. Is a first case like this just a slap on the wrist, or will he do time in jail?

Class C Felony Charges in Missouri?
He might do some time in county, but I seriously doubt that he will go to prison... unless he already has a record.

But I am curious, did you leave this child with him after the protection order? If so....WHY!!! If this man hurt you,why would you leave your child in his care.

Ok I just read the rest of what you added.

He has a lawyer I take it, that is why he is getting it continued. He may get probation, but that is ok, he will have to abide with EVERYTHING that the P.O. says for him to do.

Does the Order of Protection extend to your child, it should. Don't let him weasle his way back in with you. Because he will try!!
Reply:I am not trying to be rude but you need to put your life back together in a stable home, find a job (if you don't have one), and then go for a change in custody. Can't wait for the guy to intimidate you, make a life for your child and you.
Reply:I am confused on whether or not you are asking if he would get in trouble of you being in his house when you had the FOP.If you are asking if he would get in trouble becasue you went into his house and he was there. Then the answer is no because you went to his residence. If you are asking if he will get in trouble for the domestic violence part. That would be a hard question to answer. If he doesnt have a Criminal History then he could get Nothing, or Probation, or even a few days in the local jail if its his first offense.
