What does the "C" Stand for in class C drivers license?

Class C is just a class of a commercial driver license as the same as A and B for large trucks and buses they do not have special meaning just classes of what motor Vehical you are able to drive. It is just a code they use

Reply:. Trucks like gravel trucks, no tractor trailer rigs, no passenger vehicles except empty. does not include motorcycles but includes class G your standard drivers licence. It is like a class 3 licence where they use the numbers instead of letters. I was told once that the letter C stood for the old classification of Chauffeur's licence but I would not p[lace a lot of faith in that.
