Is it the end of the world if I get a C or fail a class in a university?!?

I'm a very hard working student, I would like to say so. I go to a top 10 university in the U.S. and I have hopes of getting a corporate career one day. But there is a class where I'm even terrified of opening the book! (UGH Accounting!!!) I haven't taken an exam for the class yet, it's coming up this week, and I'm terrified. What if I get a bad grade, what if I can't get a B or better. People in careers: Please tell me if it's the worst thing to have a C on your transcript??!! I mean, I DO go to a good university..but still!! Ugh, I know I sound so anal, but I have never gotten a C in my entire life lol. Thanks so much!!

No of course it isn't. Your employers will understand that one C in a class doesn't make you a bad employee! Your grades won't matter after your first job anyway! I understand how you feel as I got a C+ once in college and freaked out (not even in my major!) but you should really just relax and try your hardest.. you might even like accounting once you get the hang of it.
Reply:No, a C or even an F doesn't mean the end of the world. It's only one course (3-4 credits) out of your entire Bachelor's Degree, which is at least usually 120-130 credits worth. So you really don't need to worry. I mean, just don't get on a roll with getting C's and F's... but employers look not only at academic achievements, but also work experience. Just keep up your good study habits and you'll be good to go!
Reply:It's not the end of the world - employers are only concerned about your overall GPA..
