i would suggest a bmw, either a 3 series or a 5 series. you can buy one with decent mileage and a good reg for 5k.

dont get the mazda, it will depreciate a lot and the car parts are expensive as most likely they will have to be imported.

the mercedes maybe ok, but im not much of a mercedes fan...depends on your personal taste i guess.

if you want economy and reliability i would suggest a honda, or toyota. but if you want a bit of prestige then go for a bmw.
Reply:With that sort of money why not buy both?
Reply:merc for me every time
Reply:Toyota has always served me well. Cheaper to service than either Mazda or Mercedes overall. You could get a really nice Toyota with that kind of quid!

Reply:A Mercedes will spend most of it's time in a garage being fixed unless you get a pre-1995 one, and they feel very old now. The Mazda 6 is a nice car, looks good, but as with all Japanese cars the ride is not really up to spec. It's good, but a VW Passat is better. Given the choice I'd have a Passat.
Reply:Volvo 850 or the C70. The C70 is a great car and wins/won hands down against the C class Merc which I nearly bought.
Reply:mercdes!!!

its just better than mazda
Reply:Put it in the bank %26amp; save your money

Buy an old banger to get from a to b

There is no point in having a nice car these days when the councils can't be bothered to sort out the state of the roads %26amp; you wreck the suspension continously going over speed humps

Not to mention the fact that someone may pinch it to feed their drug habit or even worse pinch your stereo %26amp; get their grubby mitts all over but then you still have to keep the car.
Reply:none of the above get a honda more money in you pocket i swear the benz is always going to leak oil and the mazda well they use alot of ford ideas that don't always work , but hey its your money...
