What is the difference between Mercedes Benz C-class : CLASSIC, ESPIRIT & ELEGANCE?

These trim levels were present in the W202 C Class series (~1993 - 1997 models). There was also the Sport trim.

Classic was the basic with non-glossy window trims, no chrome and steel wheels (depending on the market). Espirit differed from the classic in that was supposed to appeal to a more youthful market, thus it came with an interior color co-ordination which was in Benz's eye more youthful. From memory, I don't think Espirit came with wood trim, although classic did.

Elegance series had chrome and a better interior trim than either classic or espirit, such as different wood, arm rests etc.

Sport had a more sporty feel, which may have included sport suspension (option or standard depending on market), sport steering wheel, wheels and tyres. Interior wise it had carbon fibre lookalikes in place of wood.

Reply:the classic version has 4 spokes of the steering wheel and classical interior (while the sport has 3), the elegance would have the same too, but more options are included. the espirit, could be sport, i am not sure, sorry, but it could have a big star logo on the front grille...
Reply:I have a c-class elegance, it has all the twiddly bits the others dint have. Such as leather seats, leather steering wheel, folding mirrors, automatic headlamps, automatic wipers, automatic dropping rear head rests, automatic dimming mirrors, super sound system, headlamp washers, delay lights after parking etc.etc.
