Is the Mercedes Benz C class Sports coupe hatchback really a great car?
Yes, of course. If you can afford it.
Reply:YUP... EVERY MERCEDES IS GREAT!!!!
Reply:Personally i think it is ugly. the sedan is far better. The coupe is a base model.
Reply:yeah man it's really great I got 1
Reply:I'm a fan of Mercedes Coupes - but not the C Class Coupe its just a cut short C Class. Mercedes made much better coupes in the past - the king of which is the W124 E Class Coupe (CE) or even the larger SEC. They were a much better drivers car given the even balance front to rear.

Reply:The best coupes made by Daimler Benz are the 560SECs built until 1991. The C class are small, coupes have shorter wheelbase than sedans, or at least they are supposed to, so rear seat room is compromised.

Sportiness will depend on the engine option but the closest thing Daimler-Benz made to sports cars since the 300SL are the two seater roadsters and most purists will not accept them as sports cars. Luxury features and automatic transmissions disqualify them.

Heres a Wiki on possibly the last of the real affordable sports cars. They claim that the 1962 model corners better than a 2005 Mustang. Would not be surprised.
