Which car would you recommend and why?
BMW 330i, Lexus IS 300, Mercedes C 230.......
BMW 3 series, Lexus IS, Mercedes C Class?
As a current owner of an IS300, I can recommend this car in terms of quality and dealer service. Current BMW 3-series is a great vehicle with the following issues: it only comes with run-flat tires which are very stiff-riding and generally more sensitive to road imperfections. Also, BMW has an abysmal quality record which one should consider, especially if you tend to hold on to your car beyond the warranty period. On a plus side, BMW offers free maintenance for four years or 50,000 miles.
Mercedes is a cruiser and has the softest personality of the three. The steering is very vague (almost Buick-like).
On a plus side: the build quality is very good, the car is vault-solid with first-rate ride and smooth switch gear.
A lot depends on your driving style and priorities: all three are good choices. My choice, would probably be BMW, provided you keep it for no more than 50K miles and replace tires with Pirelli P Zero Neros.
Reply:has to be the bmw 3 series i have owned a few of the 3 series and they are excellent , but in general the mercedes is more suited to the older man/woman in their 50s or above
lexus is for 40s-50s and bmw is 40 and below usually. dont know what age you are but generally it works like this. i have driven all and my favourite is the bmw but in the end its up to your own personal preference.
hope helped
Reply:It all depends on what you are looking for in a car. If you are looking for something a little more plush get the mercedes. The BMW is more of a sports car then the others. The lexus is more in the middle, plush and sporty.
