Does all C-Class 2001 come with integrated cell phone ? if not , how can i install one ?

All come "pre-wired" for the phone.


However, this wasn't Bluetooth. It was Mercedes proprietary phone system (you even had to have a Mercedes brand phone), and it is VERY expensive.


It was anywhere from $600-1000 as an option, and comes with some hardware and a Mercedes phone.





it is fully integrated into the cars electronics, which is nice. If you don't use their system you have to start from scratch with a full aftermarket system, and you lose steering wheel functionality.





You can find used systems on Ebay for less than new, but they are still pricey. Also, make sure the phone still works. some of the older phones use the old network and aren't viable anymore.

Reply:depends on which series you got (avantgarde, elegance or classic. Not all of the class are equip with a cell phone, check with your dealer by giving them your VIN number and they should be able to tell you accurately if your car is equip/integrated with a cell phone or not.
