How much should i Pay for 2008 Mercedes Benz C class?

I am intersted in purchasing the new Benz c 300 sport - with minimal features - ( my first real car purchase, out of college ) So not looking to get it loaded.


I recently got a quote of $33,865 + tax and tag for the following.(at bottom)





How much should i pay for this? How much can i get it for?Those of who you that have bought it, how much did you pay?


Should i wait until september for the end of the year clearance ( i am able to wait, but anxious to get the car )


Finally how willing is Benz Dealers to negotiate, or are they buy at this price or go home type of dealers?

Benz sucks, in fact they use chrysler parts in their cars which is no good.





Why anyone would by a new benz and not a new audi s5 is beyond me...
Reply:dude save your time and money and get some easy on gas like a 4cyl car,a mercedes only takes premium gas and it will cost an arm and a leg to get something fixed on a benz.+only certain dealerships can work on a mercedes.
Reply:Go to http://www.edmunds.com and find your car. Then look at the TMV (True Market Value) price, which is the price that other people are paying for that car.





Don't be too surprised if the TMV price is not much less than full MSRP sticker price because Mercedes doesn't want to be viewed as a "discount" brand. If you don't want to pay full price, the dealer can wait a few more minutes for the next customer who will gladly pay full price. He doesn't need to sell to you.
